LA Fest Films now playing! (& Call For Entries [NYC Fest]).

Call For Entries: The New York International Independent Film & Video Festival is now accepting entries (feature, shorts, documentaries, music videos, etc.) for the 2010 NYC Festival. If you want to submit a film, please visit www.nyfilmvideo.com


The upcoming LA festival screenings will take place exclusively at Culver Plaza Theatres located at 9919 Washington Blvd. at Hughes (across the street from Sony Studios and the Kirk Douglas Theatre) from Friday, February 26th-Thursday, March 4th, 2010. The opening night kick-off party and awards ceremony will take place at The Cabana Club (located at 1439 Ivar Blvd. at Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA) on Thursday, February 25th from 6pm-10pm.

When a mysterious groupie joins legendary cursed band The Dark Knights, a series
of unexplained murders befalls their comeback tour. Cast: Taryn Manning, Eric Roberts,

Manifest Hope DC: (USA)
This film documents the grassroots art-activist movement that carried President
Obama to victory, led by activist Yosi Sergant and Shepard Fairey (Obama 'Hope'
artist). It chronicles the Manifest Hope DC Gallery Event and the week-long preparation
for the historical '09 inauguration. The film reveals the secret 'art of protest',
as underground artists infilitrate the mainstream and reshape history.

Featuring: Shepard Fairey, Yosi Sergant, Michael Stipe, Rosario Dawson, Moby, Heather
