24th International Short Film Festival (LINK)

The 24th International Short Film Festival will be held in Berlin from the 4th to 9th of November 2008
Save the Date! Send us short films! More than 400 films will be shown during the six days of the festival and an estimated 100 films will be nominated to compete in several competitions giving prizes worth 40.000,- (60.000,- US$).
International juries will award ‘interfilm Short Awards’ in the following categories:
- International Competition
- Documentary Competition
- Confrontations - against Violence and Intolerance
- German Competition
- Children & Youth Film Competition
- Eject ‘The Long Night of the Unexpected’
Apart from the competitions, the festival includes a special Focus on Russia and Mexico. Additionally they will present historical programmes, animations, experimentals, music clips, commercials, documentary films and computer animation. This Short Film Festival offers a film market and organizes thematically related seminars, panels and parties.
Besides the international competitions there will be special programmes, panels and a workshop for children. The INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN & YOUTH SHORT FILM FESTIVAL in BERLIN will be held from the 1st to 9th of November 2008.
