AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR ANA KOKKINOS JOINS INTERNATIONAL STARS MIRANDA OTTO & VICTORIA HARALABIDOU AT DENDY NEWTOWN
Acclaimed Director Ana Kokkinos will be joined by Internationally respected Australian actors Miranda Otto and Victoria Haralabidou for a special advance screening of BLESSED at Dendy Newtown, Sydney on Wednesday September 2 at 6.30pm.
Based on the critically lauded play WHO'S AFRAID OF THE WORKING CLASS? BLESSED interweaves four profoundly moving stories which follow the poignant and compelling misadventures of six children as they wander the city streets through a day and a night. It's a film about the depth of love between mothers and their young, and the life force that ultimately connects us all.
Blessed also stars renowned Australian talent Deborra-lee Furness (Jindabyne, Beautiful), Frances O'Connor (Three Dollars, Mansfield Park) and William McInnes (Look Both Ways).
Showtime presenter Nell Schofield will host the special Q & A with Ana Kokkinos, Miranda Otto, Victoria Haralabidou and Sophie Lowe after the screening.
