Documentary Script and Project Development Deadline

The next deadline for the Documentary Script and Project Development is Wednesday 17 June at 5pm.

Call for Short Film Scripts
Deadline: 22 Jun 09
The Film & TV Department of Adelaide Centre for the ARTS is seeking short film scripts for production in September 2009. These short contemporary dramas or comedies will be produced by Screen students completing their 2nd year diploma.
Creative Criteria
They are seeking scripts of up to 20 minutes duration, although shorter scripts are welcome. They must be concise, visual and engaging, with characters who articulate their goals & emotions through their actions rather than just dialogue, with strong plots via a clear set-up, escalation, turning points, climax, and resolution.
A terrific opportunity to have your script made into a quality film for free.

The 12th Over The Fence Short Film Festival 2009

The Over The Fence Short Film Festival are calling for applications. They are looking for short films with an excellent sense of humour. They want your most amazing, fabulous, extraordinary, funniest and coolest “comedy” films. Animation, Drama, Documentary, Mocumentary and Experimental comedy!
If you’re thinking about making a comedy...if you're in the middle of making one...or you've finished your comic masterpiece - then get cracking !!! Films entered must be no older than 2005 and no longer than 20 minutes.

Shorts Film Festival 2009 Deadline Extension

Even longer for your Shorts!
Due to demand, Shorts Film Festival has extended its entry deadline until Friday 3 July.
Shorts is a week-long festival held in the unique environment of Adelaide’s Queen’s Theatre. The focus is on strong cinematic storytelling across all genres of film. Filmmakers across Australia compete for the 'Gold Shorts' first prize of a trip to Cannes Film Festival. Other goodies in the massive prize pool include professional post-production assistance and cash prizes.
