About the ATOM Awards
The ATOM Awards was established in 1982 by the Australian Teachers ofMedia (ATOM) - an independent, non-profit association promoting mediaeducation and screen literacy in primary, secondary and tertiaryeducation and the broader community.
Each year, the ATOM Awards recognise excellence in over thirty categories of Film, Television, Animation and Multimedia (includingelectronic games) and celebrate the very best of Australian and NewZealand production.
The 2008 EnhanceTV ATOM Awards program is open to the education andindustry sectors, students, production companies, independentfilmmakers, educational bodies and educational producers in bothcountries.
Entry Deadline: Tuesday June 10, 2008 - 12 noon.
Judging: July 2008
Finalists Notified: August 2008
Awards Ceremony: Friday October 24, 2008
