British Independant Film Festival Noms.

From Soho House in London where the nominations and jury members the 12th British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) were announced.
A record number of films were submitted this year, with the pre-selection committee viewing over 200 films. A highlight from the nominations is the very strong debut director category.
The film receiving the most nods is Fish Tank with 8 nominations. Moon follows with 7
nominations. An Education, In The Loop and Nowhere Boy each receive 6 nominations and Bright Star receives 4. Other films with multiple nominations are Katalin Varga receiving 3, and Bronson and Bunny & The Bull receiving 2 nominations
each.
Daniel Day Lewis, one of the most exceptionally talented and enigmatic actors in the industry, will be honoured with the Richard Harris Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Film by an Actor.
