Cambridge Film Festival Outdoors!
September 15th 2008 16:42
Don't miss out on the Festival's innovative series of outdoor events!
Film on the River
The centrepiece of our outdoor events will be the Riverside Screenings on 16, 17, 23 and 25 September. These evenings are set to go down in Festival history, and we're not going to let bad weather ruin the fun!
Umbrellas, blankets and hot water bottles will be provided to ensure that festivalgoers enjoy a cosy punting trip down the Cam, taking in a unique programme of arts shorts and film excerpts en route. The complimentary champagne courtesy of Nicolas Feuillate should also help keep spirits high!

On the Waterfront
Our final outdoor screening will take place in the heart of the Cambridge on historical Magdalene Street on Sunday 21 September. The city's oldest shopping street will be closed off so that pedestrians can enjoy archive footage, timelapse photography and silent comedy displayed on three screens. Drop in at any time between 8 and 10pm to enjoy the programme, which runs for 20 mins, and explore a familiar area in a completely new way.
