Popcorn Taxi and the Australian Film Commission is proud to showcase seven films that highlight the vast scope of international shorts featured at this, the world�s premiere Short Film Festival screened in February this year. Not only will you see films that took out awards for Best animation and Grand Prix Audience Prizes this is your chance to also understand the biggest short film market full of buyers/distributors hungry for product.
We are also proud to host Mr Calmin Borel; the chief programmer for the festival who will be in Sydney for one night only, joining us after the screening for a live audience Q&A on-stage and shed insight on how YOUR short film can be a part of this prestigious festival.
This is an evening not to be missed for filmmakers, producers and those passionate about film who wishes to understand how to take your art to another level.
PopcornTaxi believes this to be an important and invaluable evening for filmmakers and producers and with the gracious support of the Australian Film Commission we've slashed ticket prices in order to facilitate all patrons keen to further themselves and in turn the Australian Film Industry.
Popcorn Taxi gratefully acknowledges the St Kilda International Film Festival in bringing Calmin Borel and the international short films to Australia, and allowing us to host this event exclusively in Sydney.
