The CineYouth Festival is now accepting the work of filmmakers 20 years old and younger.
The Chicago International Film Festival's 6th Annual youth festival, CineYouth honors and highlights the work of filmmakers 20 years old and younger. This festival includes public screenings of officially selected work, a networking filmmakers luncheon and over 10 filmmaking workshops for participating students. Award winning films are shown at
the Chicago International Film Festival in October.
During the three day Festival, CineYouth provides young filmmakers the opportunity to attend numerous workshops (past workshops include: Screenwriting 101, Bach or Beyonce – Soundtracking Your Film, Am I Gonna Get Sued for This?, Final Cut Editing), film school panels and discussions, and access to industry professionals, all at Columbia College Chicago, the country’s biggest film school.
The CineYouth Festival will be held May 6-8, 2010 at Columbia College Chicago (1104
South Wabash, Chicago) and is free and open to the public.

Entry Requirements and Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be postmarked by March 15, 2010!
Filmmakers must have been 20 years old or younger when they completed their project.The
project length of all films and videos submitted must be 10 minutes or under.There is a submission fee of $10 for each entry.
