FLICKERFEST'S NEW FILMMAKERS RESOURCE SITE - GOES LIVE!
The brand new online resource is designed to give all Australian filmmakers a head start in the world of marketing their short to a global community. The Flickerfest Filmmaker's Resource site: a new creation from Flickerfest, supported by major government sponsor Screen Australia, is now live at Really Long Link
With over 12 years experience in short film distribution and a catalogue of around 200 of Australia's best shorts Flickerfest knows a thing or two about marketing and selling short films to the world, and with the launch of their new Filmmakers Resource Site, they aim to unlock a few secrets, and share the knowledge. FLICKERFEST HEADS FOR THE HILLS IN JUNE - CASTLE HILL THAT IS!
If you missed Flickerfest in Sydney this year, you can catch the satellite screenings at Castle Hill's Greater Union cinema complex from June 19th - 24th. Screening some wonderful films in a new Best of Australian Shorts programme and the much-loved Celebrity Shorts programme, these screenings bring Flickerfest to outer north-west of Sydney. Details, times and dates will be posted shortly on both the flickerfest website at www.flickerfest.com.au and the Greater Union site.
The Flickerfest MovieExtra Filmmakers Toolkit this week focuses on stunts as Nash Edgerton opens our eyes to the world of making and shooting stunts.
Iconic film producer Jan Chapman gives her views on the art and logistics of stunt work and we take you on set with some of the guys who know what it takes to make them.
