Free Wednesdays in August

The Ashland Public Library will present a free Independent Film Series featuring several ashland independent film festival audience favorites. The 2008 festival hit documentary Young@Heart, the AIFF monthly film series special (and Academy Award winning) documentary Man on Wire, the 2009 festival Audience Award winning short documentary Kick Like a Girl and other AIFF films will be included. This series is presented by the Friends of the Library and is sponsored in part by the ashland independent film festival.
The Independent Film Series is presently screening at the Ashland Public Library and will continue each Wednesday in August with afternoon and evening screenings. Seating is limited with tickets available at the Library one hour before each show.

7:00 pm - Kick Like a Girl and Young at Heart.
August 19
2:00 pm - Under the Roller Coaster and Tis Autumn: The Search for Jackie Paris.
August 26
2:00 pm- Short Term 12 and Man on Wire.
Cost: Free to the general public.
Tickets: Limited seating, tickets will be available 1 hour before each showing.
