On the release of his romantic buddy movie I Love You Too, leading man Brendan Cowell (Noise, Love My Way, Beneath Hill 60) talks about his approach to working with directors across a range of genres and formats. A must-attend session for directors, actors and screenwriters alike.

AFTRS shorts to screen at the Cinema des Antipodes in Cannes!
The competitive Cannes Film Festival is just one of the events running at festival time. Also taking place are official sidebar events that are part of the Cannes Cinephiles program, and one of these is the Cinema des Antipodes - a program of new and unseen features and shorts from Australia and New Zealand. This year the Cinema des Antipodes is screening AFTRS shorts made in 2009 including; The Bris (Writer/Director CJ Johnson),The Bridge (Writer/Director Martha Goddard) and Violet (Director Craig Boreham, Writer Alice Bell) - one of the four shorts that made up the AFTRS/NIDA coproduction Before the Rain created in 2009. In addition graduate Robert Connolly's 1995 AFTRS short, Mr. Ikegami's Flight, will be screened with his 2009 feature Balibo.
