Here's the latest from the AFTRS. Would have loved to have been there for the COombs. Elliot Talk aspecially after seeing MARY AND MAX on teh Wednesday last week.
You have to go and see it when it comes out in two weeks. It is amazing. Will publish a full review by the end of the week.
Last week saw the biggest turn out yet for a Friday on My Mind with a more than 'full
house' turning up to hear AFTRS grad Melanie Coombs and her creative
collaborator Adam Elliot talk about the their latest project; Mary and Max. We actually had to turn people away - so make sure you get to AFTRS by 5pm to ensure you secure your seat.
This week we will have the producer of the new Aussie feature Two Fists One Heart join us to explore the genre of boxing films.

The boxing film revival
As Australian film Two Fists One Heart releases on our screens, we look at the boxing film genre, from Raging Bull and Rocky to The Wrestler, and how this new father/sonstory is being marketed internationally in light of them.
