FTO CONGRATULATES ALL NSW FILMMAKERS

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The Toronto International Film Festival has made an initial announcement of films selected to screen at the Festival in September, with more announcements expected over coming weeks. The Film and Television Office in NSW recently posted its congratulations to all NSW filmmakers with films selected. Films that have received financial support from the NSW Government through the FTO or the Film Investment Attraction Fund are Mao's Last Dancer, Beautiful Kate, Bright Star and Samson and Delilah which won the Camera D'Or at this years Cannes Film Festival.
"This is an impressive line-up of films showcasing the talent of two of our most celebrated directors - Bruce Beresford and Jane Campion - as well as two acclaimed new feature film directors, Warwick Thornton and Rachel Ward. The FTO wishes them well and we look forward to further announcements from Toronto," said Tania Chambers, CEO of the FTO.
