The Katoomba Short Film Festival is back for its second year, and is inviting filmmakers of all ages and experience to submit their works.
The main aim of the festival is to give established and emerging film makers the opportunity to show their works to as many people as possible during the Winter Magic Month of June.
The deadline for submissions was 31st May 2009.
The screenings will take place in Katoomba at the historic Carrington Hotel and at the Gearin Hotel, a well known performance venue recently acquired by Australian screen legend, Jack Thompson.

3. Documentary
4. Open
The three finalists in each category will be screened at the closing ceremony where the inaugural Golden Gang-Gang Award will be presented to the best in show. Details of this presentation night and additional awards will be announced on this website as they come to hand.
The 2009 Katoomba Film Festival is proud to announce the Festival has attracted Mr David Stratton as patron.
