A couple of items film buffs might be interested in. In Newtiwn there is quite a good bookshop on films etc so why not pop in and have a look. For those of you not based in Sydney, check out the link.

OzDox has been established as a joint initiative from documentary filmmakers, industry bodies and academics, to foster, promote and provide a monthly forum for documentary culture.
We have 30 programs now available on DVD - ranging from 60 mins to 120mins. These programs contain panel discussions and forums with leading Australian documentary filmmakers, plus some visiting overseas filmmakers at OZDOX events. The topics all deal with being a filmmaker and the skills you need to succeed today, with many examples and in- depth interviews.
