PRODUCTION DESIGNER REQUIRED
‘The Re-Living’ is a psychological short film about a man who has committed a terrible act, and is transported to an unfamiliar landscape to answer for what he has done. The film will be completed by a team operating in the Hunter Valley, whose last film was accepted as an official selection into the inaugural 2010 Warrambeen Film Festival. A talented Production Designer is required to help with this no budget, interesting piece. Although payment cannot be offered, this would suit someone with a passion for story-telling looking to get a different type of short film onto their Resume.

'The Rose Tattoo', a film funded under the Indigenous Breakthrough Initiative with Metro Screen, is urgently seeking an experienced 1st AD. Three young Aboriginal men's lives collide when their friend mysteriously dies. Thirty years later they reunite to learn the secret has a more sinister side than they could have ever imagined. Two days of principal photography will begin 4th July with second date TBC.

Santa Shorts Productions will be shooting a short film on an Eastern Suburbs location over three days, 24th, 25th and 26th July 2010 and require an experienced Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the filming for those three days as well as an experienced Continuity Person. Also, the Production Manager will need to be available for weekly Production Meetings held on either a Tuesday or Wednesday evening in the Eastern Suburbs. Deferred payment is offered. ‘Tupperware’, is a comedy short film by award-winning playwright Wayne Tunks. It is 1959 in Sydney and Tupperware is making its triumphant debut in Australia. A group of well to do housewives get together to introduce themselves to the wonder product and have a pleasant afternoon, but as the Tupperware lids open, so do the secrets each one carries. From prim and proper to debauchery within the time it takes to drink from the finest porcelain tea cup. The film will be shot on 28th and 29th August in Sydney. We require a DOP, film editor and production/costume designer, camera assistant, sound recordist, Boom operator and 3 make-up artists.

Duties include: Office administration, organising production shoots, call sheets, formatting pitches, data entry, assisting the Production Manager and post facilities. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate: 6 months experience in a similar role, Advanced Computer literacy skills with experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Manual Drivers License and Knowledge of the TV Broadcast industry.

Synopsis: Young Turkish woman, Elif, lives with her parents in Western Sydney suburb. Her fiancé cheated on her and she knows about it. She grew up in an environment where the men make decisions for the women. She cannot break the rules but she is questioning herself due to being cheated on and accepting this she is losing respect for herself.
