Having a bit of trouble getting the funding up and running for your film project. Check out metro screens funding grants. I have had some dealings with them and they are extremely helpful not only with training and funding, but also with advice on how to get your project completed. Industry professionals are available. Definitely worth a though, just look at what they have on offer funding wise

Green light your project
Metro Screen invests in productions by providing subsidised access to our equipment and facilities through Jump Start and Network Production Grants.
Jump Start $45,000 annually
Metro Screen¹s Jump Start Committee typically comprises representatives of the Metro Board, our Facilities Department and the independent production industry.
Applicants should be realistic about the amount of subsidy sought and note that the committee expects a cash contribution by all applicants unless extenuating financial circumstances exist.
2009 application deadlines are Feb 02 | Jun 01 | Sep 07
Network Production Grants $15,000 annually
Awarded through our regular calendar of Metro Screen Network events. Entertain our audience and display your powers of persuasion with your five minute pitch OR simply enter a short project into our Tell Your Story competition and win.
Pitching Competitions Apr 07 and in association with an industry partner such as SPAA Fringe Aug 04.
