New campaign to combat Accidental Pirates.

Australia is fast becoming a nation of television and film pirates, but most don't realise that they are doing something wrong, according to a study conducted by the Intellectual Property Awareness Foundation (IPAF).
The new research revealed that a third of Australians – 34% - said they see piracy as stealing or theft but they regularly do it by burning, buying or downloading illegal or unauthorized copies of films or TV programs. Not cool.
IPAF has created a national campaign focusing on defining piracy and educating the public on the actions that constitute content theft at the everyday and every person level ... and their campaign is a very disarming and funny one, with aussie actor Dan Wyllie portraying likeable caricatures of everyday Australians. Very amusing indeed.
So next time you are in Thailand and you find yourself in a small room surrounded by copied DVD's ... just take a minute to think again.
