NYIIFVF call out!

The The New York International Independent Film & Video Festival hosts 4 festivals a year, taking place in New York and Los Angeles and has become the largest Indie festival in the World. Founded in 1993, NYIIFVF attracts many global entries, including Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Kenya, Japan, Canada, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, Germany, Spain, India and the U.K.
According to their NYIIFVF website, some of the high profile entries that have been received include works by Andy Garcia, Selma Blair, Ewan McGregor, Cameron Diaz, Christopher Walken, Daryl Hannah, Eva Herzigova, Guy Pearce, Rod Steiger, Tippi Hedren, Tony Danza, Willem Dafoe and Executive Producer Vin Diesel.
The NYIIFVF is a competitive event and is known as 'the voice for independent film' receiving coverage in all major media. Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Fox 5, CNN, New York Observer, New York Times, Newsday, LA Times, Movie Maker, Star Magazine, Screentalk Magazine, to name but a few.
Abel Ferrara once famously quoted in an interview with Movie Maker, "This festival is the real deal; everybody else just talks about doing it and these guys just do it."
The festival's distribution wing, ITN Distribution travels to all major film and television markets and has quickly established itself as a major player in the world of distribution.
The New York International Independent Film & Video Festival is currently accepting entries (feature, shorts, documentaries, music videos, etc. for NYC, Fall 2009 and are still accepting late entries for shorts for our upcoming LA, July 2009 festival.

ITN Distribution has two films coming out this week: "The Butterfly Tattoo" (Cinema Epoch), based on the novel from the author of The Golden Compass, and "Ghosts of Goldfield" (LionsGate/Barnhotz), which stars Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Prom Night, the new Nightmare on Elm Street). Look for them in your local video stores.
