Popcorn Taxi is proud to present the premiere screening of “Antichrist” – followed by an exclusive Q&A with the film’s controversial writer-director, Lars von Trier (Manderlay, Dogville, Dancer in the Dark, Breaking the Waves, The Idiots), live from Denmark.
“Antichrist” is a dark psychological thriller in which a couple tragically lose their young son when he falls out of an upstairs window, while they’re having sex in an adjacent room. The mother (Cannes Festival Award winner Charlotte Gainsbourg) is confined to hospital suffering from shock and grief, but her therapist husband (William Dafoe) brings her home, intent on treating her depression himself. To confront her fears, they take off for their remote cabin in the woods, known as ‘Eden’, where something untold happened the previous summer…
