A TRIBUTE TO THE DIRECTOR AND THE CHICAGO PREMIERE OF "INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS"
Cinema/Chicago, the 45th Chicago International Film Festival, and The Weinstein Company / Universal Pictures are presenting the 2009 Summer Gala, to be held on Tuesday, August 18th at AMC River East (322 E. Illinois St.) with a reception immediately following at theWit Hotel (201 N. State).
This once-in-a-lifetime event will feature the first Chicago showing of this summer's highly anticipated film, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS starring Brad Pitt, Melanie Laurent, Eli Roth and Christoph Waltz as a group of Jewish-American soldiers in Nazi-occupied France during World War II.
This exclusive fundraising event will also include a tribute to INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS director, Quentin Tarantino and will feature a montage of his groundbreaking body of work as well as the presentation of the Cinema/Chicago Career Achievement Award.
