RIIFF FILMMAKING FORUM, March 11th, 2008
March 8th 2008 04:25
THE INS AND OUTS OF THE NICHE FILM FESTIVAL CIRCUIT.
Join the Rhode Island Film Festival for this free event at Borders Bookstore in Providence Place Mall, 7:00 p.m.
The festival circuit is one of the most popular and useful tools for connecting your film to an audience. But few filmmakers understand the steps involved in getting their film ready for submission. With the explosion of regional festivals, it is important to strategize how and where your film will be exhibited.
At this Forum, filmmakers can learn firsthand from the directors of Brown University's Ivy Film Festival, the largest student run film festival in the country. Featuring Megan Boudreau, Executive Director; Elizabeth Backup, Associate Director; Eric Dahlbom, Programming Director, Chase Huneke, Senior Programmer.
The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session. Hosted by Adam Short, RIIFF's Producing Director. For more information, please call the RIIFF offices at 1 (401) 861-4445
