ROOFTOP requires bands for summer 2010

Music is a big part of Rooftop Films events. In the past few years, audiences have enjoyed performances by The Antlers, The Drums, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Stars Like Fleas, Kurt Vile, Marissa Nadler, Chairlift, Phosphorescent, The Mountain Goats, Deer Tick, Sharon Van Etten and more.
They're looking for a new batch of musicians to add to that list, so if you are interested in booking some shows in NYC this summer, and would like to perform for a big crowd with a beautiful urban backdrop, please send your music today.
Rooftop Films screens a wide variety of films from all over the world and always try to match the music with the appropiate films. They are interested in musicians working in any and all genres: rock, blues, country, metal, R & B, world, folk, electronic, punk, jazz, latin, hip-hop, experimental - you name it. They program everything from established major label bands to singer-songwriters who have never performed anywhere but the NYC subways, so get in touch regardless of your style of music or your past experience.
