Calling all UK women filmmakers! This is a public service announcement!
We want to let you all know that the submissions deadline for UK applicants has now been extended to 10th November 2008.

This is great news for all of you busy filmmakers out there, and great news for us because we get to watch more of your brilliant films!

2008 saw the 4th Birds Eye View Film Festival - our biggest yet, with 10,000 visitors coming to 80 events across 8 days at the BFI Southbank, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Curzon Soho and other London venues. Screenings were accompanied by inspiring Q&A's, masterclasses, special cross-arts events, parties, a whole new innovation strand, a retrospective of silent film with special live music commissions and a programme of workshops and masterclasses for emerging talent.
Plus awards are up for grabs!
