SFF PROGRAM CHANGES 10 June 2008
The SFF was belatedly informed that the prints of four archival titles (An Affair to Remember, From Here to Eternity, Tea and Sympathy, Phase IV), supplied by Hollywood studio archives, require specialised projection facilities which of our venues are only available at the State Theatre. We have therefore had to make the following program changes to accommodate this requirement. The prints of four archival titles are all in excellent condition, indeed both An Affair to Remember and From Here to Eternity are brand new prints.
TICKETING INFORMATION
Patrons holding a ticket for any of these films who wish to attend the re-scheduled session should take their ticket to a festival Box Office for an exchange (at no charge).
If you would rather retain your ticket for the day, date and time printed on it but see the rescheduled title, you may use the ticket you have.
We are also happy to provide a full refund if you would prefer. Please visit a festival Box Office prior to the screening time on your ticket.

ADDITIONAL SCREENINGS AND EVENTS
An illustrated conversation with Chris Doyle and Rain Li
Wed 11 June 4pm Festival Lounge at the Statement Bar, FREE
Don't miss this recent addition to our Talks program in which cinematographers Christopher Doyle and Rain Li focus on recent collaborations, including work with artist Gerard Byrne, fashion designer Dries van Noten, and musicians sigur ros and The Raconteurs.
Doyle, renowned for his films as cinematographer with directors Wong Kar-wai, Gus van Sant and Phillip Noyce, will show sneak excerpts from his upcoming feature as director, Warsaw Dark, which is shot by Rain Li and is scheduled to premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival.
Chris and Rain discuss their current practice and screen clips from other recent work.
Ashes of Time Redux

Wong Kar-wai's revisitation of his 1994 swordplay movie.
