TORONTO CINEMATHEQUE
January 18th 2009 05:35
Based in Toronto, the Cinematheque Ontario offers cinephiles the experiences that few cinema complexes offer these days. Ye olde classics, cult films and modern day masterpieces all lie alongside each other with something new and exciting every day. Don’t complain that there isn’t anything on that boring box you have sitting in the corner at home. You can get out of the house for an amazing evening before heading home to drift off to sleep.
Tickets for this year’s cinematheque are on sale this week starting January 20 and there is plenty to see over the next few months. And while you are there, add a donation to help support the Canadian Film Industry. Unless you are a large studio organization with plenty of money at your disposal, funding is vital to the continuing success of every country’s film industry.
Have a look at some of the films on offer in January/ February and head over to the website for the full winter schedule.
