Win a private London screening of GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

London.....Momentum Pictures, with the support of the UK Film Council, has launched a search for the UK's biggest fans of the worldwide phenomenon THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, in celebration of the film's UK release on March 12.
Running across the UK Facebook fan page and via a downloadable widget, the competition challenges fans to show their excitement about the film to friends by completing tasks and competing to win a once in a lifetime trip to Stockholm to visit the film's locations.
Every week, the widget and Facebook page will be updated with new tasks and questions, challenging fans to follow in the footsteps of the film's heroine Lisbeth and solve mysteries and uncover secrets. Fans will complete a variety of tasks over eight weeks to enter the competition, earning fan points as they enter each stage of the competition and also when they invite friends to join the competition and share content with them. Whilst all fans that answer the eight tasks will be entered into the Stockholm draw, the fan who accumulates the greatest number of points will win a private pre-screening of the film for themselves and
twenty of their nearest and dearest - before the film hits cinemas!
In a media first and mirroring its lead character's technical savvy, the film's UK website uses innovative wireWAX technology, never before used on an official movie website, which allows users to click on film characters in a piece of embedded video to open pop-ups that provide additional information and added content.
This content will be vital to aspiring super fans as they attempt to find the answers to the clues provided through the fan page and widget. The film's search campaign is already live, capturing those who are looking for information about the property and directing them to the
website to learn about the film.
From today, fans can also register their vote to 'see the film first' in their area simply by entering their postcode into the website. The area with the most votes will host an early preview of the film for fans.
